Jindan is the largest producer in Asia and the second largest producer in the world. Jindan has won numerous national and provincial Science & Technology Achievement Awards and 20 patents due to its National Lactic Acid Engineering Research Center and Provincial Starch Biochemical Engineering Technology Center which is staff by the top scientist in the lactic acid field. The Research Center is also used as a Doctoral Scientific Research Working Station and a Lactic Acid Engineering & Technology Research Center for Doctoral students. Jindan has received numerous awards by Henan Province and was granted the distinction of having Henan added to the Jindan name.
